Dan Dalton’s story is one built on dirt, dedication, and decades of passion for two-wheeled racing—both on the track and behind the mic. Dan Dalton doesn’t just live the racing lifestyle— he is the racing lifestyle.

Who Is Dan Dalton?
From the moment he threw a leg over a dirt bike at just four years old, Dan Dalton was all in. Fueled by adrenaline and driven by passion, he grew up in the heart of two-wheeled competition. At 12, he made the jump into BMX racing — what he jokingly calls “starting backwards”—but that move only expanded his love and understanding of the sport. Over the decades, Dan carved out a unique path, moving seamlessly between motocross and BMX. He didn’t just participate — he immersed himself. Racing, building relationships, and living every moment of the track life. Even after stepping away from competitive racing when he started his family and introduced his daughter and two sons along with his supporting wife, into the BMX family. Dan never left the track. His passion evolved into supporting the next generation— watching young riders and racers chase their goals and create their own stories.
How Did Dan Dalton Get Involved with Announcing for Motocross?
For Dan, announcing wasn’t a career move — it was a natural evolution. In 2013, while owning and operating a BMX track—the very same track where his journey began back in the early ‘80s — he picked up the mic and never looked back. With decades of firsthand racing experience, Dan brought something different to announcing authenticity, energy, and a true racer’s perspective. He knows what it feels like sitting on the gate. He knows the pressure, the nerves, the drive. And when he speaks, that knowledge comes through loud and clear. By 2023, Dan expanded into motocross announcing, working alongside multiple promoters and bringing his signature voice and high-energy delivery to motocross events.

When Did Dan Dalton Start Announcing?
Dan officially stepped into announcing in 2013, marking the start of a whole new chapter in his racing career. What began at his home track quickly turned into something much bigger. His ability to connect with riders, engage the crowd, and keep the energy high made him a standout presence behind the mic.
What Other Places Has Dan Dalton Announced At?
Dan’s announcing journey has taken him from local BMX roots to a growing presence in motocross events. Starting at his own track, he built his reputation in the BMX community before branching out to announce at multiple tracks and events. Since 2023, he has worked with various motocross promoters, bringing consistency, excitement, and professionalism to every event he’s part of. No matter the venue, one thing stays the same — when Dan Dalton is on the mic, the energy is up and the crowd is locked in.

Pinn It To Win It
Dan’s mindset has always been simple: go all in. That philosophy lives through his brand, “Pinn It To Win It.” It’s more than a name — it’s a statement. A reflection of how he’s approached racing, announcing, and life from day one. Wide open. No hesitation. Full commitment.
